
Laurel Lisa Holloman, born on May 23rd 1971 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
After her first year of college, moved to Chicago to work with the Piven Theatre Workshopstage. Moved to New York in 1994; began acting off-Broadway in "The Heart is a Lonely Hunter" at Theatre for the New City.
Also performed off-Broadway in Julia Jordan's "Night Swim" at Playwright's Horizons. Made her film debut as one of the eponymous teenagers in Maria Maggenti's The Incredibly True Adventure of Two Girls in Love (1995). She subsequently found leading and supporting roles in films ranging from Bart Freundlich's The Myth of Fingerprints (1997), in which she played a member of an emotionally dysfunctional family; to Boogie Nights (1997), Gavin O'Connor's Tumbleweeds (1999), and Loving Jezebel (1999), which cast her as the married object of a young man's crush. . Studied with John Lynn in Los Angeles; was cast in David Orr's independent feature "Blossom Time."
From 2001 to 2002, Laurel played the re-occuring role of Justine on Angel, seeking solace in vengeance, for the demise of her twin sister. In 2004, Laurel took on the role of Tina Kennard, on the television show The L Word
